Authenticity & Transparency

For American Provenance, the Blue Mounds manufacturer of natural personal care and wellness products, their core values are authenticity and transparency. They chose Bank of Prairie du Sac for those same qualities. We met with their founder, Kyle LaFond, to learn what led him to choose us for his bank.

“We believe in community relationships. I cannot think of a local grocery store, pharmacy, or cooperative that does not carry our products. We have been very fortunate to have that kind of support and for us, I really wanted to reciprocate. I want to do business with other local businesses and that is where Bank of Prairie du Sac came in.

“Mike Phillips, our banker, has been with us pretty much since day one. He came out here to see our facility when we first launched and to find out more about our company and how we were going to grow. We started off with just three people and a dream and now we are 16 folks and scaling.

“One of the things I really appreciate about Mike and our relationship with Bank of Prairie du Sac is how they look at our business not strictly from a financial aspect. We have talked about our growth and how we started off with a handcart, to a pallet jack, and now to a forklift. And we kind of joke around about how we are scaling.
