Celebrating 110 Years: A Special Visit from Wisconsin Bankers Association

At Bank of Prairie du Sac, meaningful milestones are best celebrated together—and our 110th anniversary is no exception.

We were honored to welcome Rose Oswald Poels, President & CEO of the Wisconsin Bankers Association (WBA), for a special visit on Wednesday, July 8, 2026. Her visit marked a memorable moment in our history as she presented a commemorative plaque to Steve Ploetz, President & CEO, recognizing 110 years of dedicated service to our customers and community.

This recognition, issued on behalf of the Wisconsin Bankers Association Board of Directors, highlights the lasting impact community banks have across the state. For more than a century, Bank of Prairie du Sac has remained committed to helping individuals, families, and businesses achieve their financial goals—playing a meaningful role in supporting the “American Dream” right here in our community.

Since opening our doors in 1916, we have focused on delivering personalized financial services while contributing to the growth and vitality of the Sauk Prairie area. Reaching this milestone is not just a reflection of our past—it’s a testament to the relationships we’ve built and the trust our customers place in us every day.

We extend our sincere thanks to the Wisconsin Bankers Association for this recognition, and to our customers, employees, and community members who have supported us along the way. Your trust and partnership have made this achievement possible.

As we look ahead, our commitment remains the same: to serve our community with care, integrity, and a focus on helping future generations succeed.

Here’s to the next chapter.
